Legal status
Humanity Above All is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States — Tax ID (EIN) 99-3629103. The IRS recognized our exemption effective June 20, 2024, and classifies us as a public charity under sections 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi), not a private foundation. Anyone can verify us independently by searching our EIN in the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and every donor receives a receipt.
How donations are used
Your contribution is used where it is needed most to support our relief efforts. To sustain operations, a small portion of funds may also be used for essential administrative, logistical, and compliance-related costs that allow our all-volunteer team to continue delivering aid effectively and meet legal requirements. These costs are kept to an absolute minimum so the greatest possible share of your donation directly supports those in urgent need.

Organizations with gross receipts under $50,000 file the IRS e-Postcard rather than a full Form 990. It records our name, EIN and principal officer, and carries no financial schedules by design — so there is little to publish. We will file a Form 990-EZ, which does show finances, once we pass that threshold.Filed for 2025
